My name is En-Uk Sequoya Hwang, and I was born on May 28, 1999 in Jerusalem, Israel. I started this blog to show my art.
I live in Seoul, South Korea with my older sister and my parents. My mother is Korean, and my father is American.
The Korean designation is so strange: "seven-faced (chil myeon) bird (jo)." A reference to those tail feathers, or to the turkey's lumpy face, which looks as if it has a bunch of little faces on it?
And does the bird turkey like you? Especially at Thanksgiving?
ReplyDeleteIn Korean, what sound does the 칠면조 make? In English, it's "Gobble gobble!" In Korean, it's...?
The chilmyeonjo? If it's smart, it'll kowtow and cry out, "Grovel, grovel!" Whatever that is in Korean honorific . . .
