Jepen

Jepen

This drawing is called "Jepen." I made this drawing because Jepen is yet another one of my countries. It is close to Japan, but under water. Bye.

  1. I see the footprints of two feet on a big green bathroom scale. The person who stepped on the scale had a cut lip, and when he looked down to see his weight, two large drops of blood fell from his lip and splatted on the scale, obscuring the weight result in the little rectangular screen. (It's an electronic scale, you see.)

How much do Jepenese people generally weigh?

  2. "How much do Jepenese people generally weigh?"

Generally? About everything that we above water have to weigh. Weights and measures are pretty much indespensible in every country.

    But I guess you were asking En-Uk . . .

  4. Just thinking laterally, dhr. It's usually better than thinking too literally.

I have to say... every time I see "dhr," I think of the proto-Indo-European root dhr (law, right, rectitude), from which we get dharma. In India, this root ended up taking over most of the language having to do with rightness, rule, and law; the earlier term, associated with early Hindu thinking, was rta, still visible in Western language in words like right, rectitude, rhythm, arithmetic, etc. If I recall correctly, Robert Pirsig, in his book Lila, wrote at some length about this.

Anyway, the letters "dhr" might just be your initials, but they're also a noble unit of meaning in their own right.

  5. (En-Uk, please excuse me for going off topic)

"Law, right, rectitude, rule"... me?? :-D

No, it is only about my initials, where H is for Humei, a Japanese name meaning... No-name.

  8. We know you know. And we know you know that we know you know. In fact, I'm pretty sure we know you know that we know you know that we know you know.

    But does Sa-Rah know?
